Michael Pflaum and his wife Barbel began serving as missionaries in Zambia in 1986. Their ministry involved evangelism, church work, mobilization, and working with Amano Christian School. During the 1990’s, Michael started flying, and found he was able to use his passion for flying to serve the Lord through aviation.
Martin, Michael's son, met Jovita at Letourneau University in East Texas, and they both graduated in 2014 from the College of Aviation & Aeronautical Science. They became engaged and married in April 2016. Two years later, Martin began working as an air ambulance pilot in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to being a pilot, Martin is also a licensed aircraft mechanic.
Caleb and Haley Voss join the team as representatives for Imbila Nsuma Wings. Caleb and Haley met at LeTourneau University in 2013, and attended the university alongside Martin and Jovita. Caleb is a pilot as well and shares a passion for mission aviation. They currently reside in Denton, Texas where Caleb is a pilot for American Eagle and Haley works as an admin assistant for a tech company. They are excited to partner with Martin and Jovita in helping grow the ministry from the States.
